Nancy Jo Staley, 79, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2026, at Carol Place in Grandview, Missouri. Born on November 3, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, Nancy built a life marked by steady dedication, genuine warmth, and deep appreciation for family connections.
For 50 years, Nancy worked with passion and artistry as a professional hairdresser, forming lasting relationships and bringing confidence and joy to generations of clients through her care and skill.
Beyond her work, Nancy found simple happiness in cheering on her beloved Kansas City Chiefs rarely missing a game and gladly sharing that enthusiasm with those around her.
Nancy was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Garry D. Staley, in 1966. Together, they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage until Garry’s passing in 2020.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents John and Marjorie, her husband, Garry D. Staley; her son, Garry Duane Staley Jr, and seven siblings.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Christine Rochelle Zerba; her siblings Michael Steele and Linda Kinney her grandsons, Zachary Staley, Memphis Zerba, and Jacob Staley; and her great-grandson, Noah Staley.
