Naomi "Ruth" Evans

Naomi “Ruth” Evans, 87, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away September 2, 2013 at her home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Interment Chapel, 801 Northwest 108th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64155. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Victory Free Will Baptist Church.

Ruth Evans was born March 2, 1926 in Buffalo, Missouri. Ruth worked in the credit department at Montgomery Ward for 30 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Ruth spent many hours volunteering at her church. She will be missed every day.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Evans in 2003. Survivors include her children Sherry and Ted Fair of Surprise, Arizona; Dave and Pam Evans of San Diego, California; Mike and Rhonda Evans of Kansas City, Missouri; Grandchildren Tracy Fair-Parsons and husband Bill of Rolla, Missouri; Jason Fair and wife Samantha of Surprise, Arizona; Heather Bowman of Kansas City, Missouri; Ryan Bowman of Atlanta, Georgia; Gina Noble of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and Kelsa Brown and husband Rob of Omaha, Nebraska. Great-grandchildren; Celia and Sophie Parsons, Caiden and Jacob Fair, Olivia Bowman, Chase, Branon and Brailee Brown and Braxton Noble.
