

Natalie Nicole “Niki” Marie Parks-Frierson, 34, passed away February 24, 2012. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 11424 Hickman Mills Drive, Kansas City, Missouri. Interment in Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Natalie was born on May 10, 1977 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the first child of Roger and Eugenia Jones. Her paternal grandmother, Minerva L. Jones; one uncle, Charles Jones Jr. and cousins, Ricardo E Parks and Phillip Gregory E. Parks Sr. preceded her in death. Natalie also known as “Small Wonder”, “Nik Nak” or “Nutz” attended school in the greater Kansas City, Missouri School District and graduated from Southeast High School in 1995. She attended college at Missouri Western State University. She worked for DST Systems, Inc. until February of 2010. It was then that Niki decided to join forces with her brother Corey whom she called her “Little Big Brother” where she worked as his secretary to help support and grow his company until late “2010” when she became ill. Niki accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age at Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her precious memory: her parents, Roger and Eugenia Jones; one brother, Corey K. Jones Sr. (Carletta Temple); two nephews, Corey K. Jones Jr. and Chase E. Jones; one god-sister, Jabrion Lucas; three god-children, Reyce Reynolds, Cheyann Reynolds, Kylan Silvers; maternal grandmother, Shirley Hightower (Zack); paternal grandfather, Charles Jones Sr. all of Kansas City; maternal grandfather Phillip D. Parks Sr. (JoAnne) of Duncanville Texas, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that loved her dearly. Condolences may be offered at www.mtmoriah-freeman.com.
