

Natalie Janet Miller was born on December 27, 1931, on her grandparents’ farm in Nance County, Nebraska and died on September 6, 2014 at the age of 82. She was the only child of Phipps and Leola Agnes (Dodd) Ivey.
On August 14, 1954, she married Sterling J. Miller at the chapel of St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mr. Miller died in February 2008.
Mrs. Miller worked for the Department of Defense in Denver, Colorado for 20 years, retiring in January 1995. She and Mr. Miller traveled extensively for several years before moving to the Kansas City area in 2006 to be near their youngest daughter and family.
She is survived by her son, Kendall of Hoquiam, Washington, daughters Tami (Roger) Wendell of Lakewood, Colorado, and Denise (Randy) Hansen of Kansas City, Missouri, grandchildren Dustin Miller of Pasadena, California, Mauri Miller of Petaluma, California, Roger Wendell of Toyama, Japan, Amber Wendell of Parker, Colorado, Luke Hansen and Natalie Hansen of Kansas City, Missouri, and a great grandson, Aidan Miller of Petaluma, California, as well as several cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma Society or The American Cancer Fund. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
