You're Birthday is always a hard day for me to get through Nick. I miss your face , I miss your voice, I miss your humor, I miss your friendship, I  miss your laugh and I miss those perfect blue eyes that spoke so loudly when you couldn't. 
You should know that I am not the only one who misses you, you have so many people that still love you, who have not forgotten you and still miss you everyday.

Nick, you were one of the deepest souls I’ve ever known. You were my love for several months in 1981 and you were always kind to me, and thoughtful of my needs. You were and always will be a part of my heart, and my memories. ❤️

Sharing music like candy, fun & laughter-big yes to comedy mindful dialogue, save me from myself psychological,emotional, discussions. Nick was made of intellect , kindness, character  & fun & good to people.    Soul man.. 

Nick and his entire family were as much a part of my childhood as my biological family. You are missed

I grew up in Lori's class of 80 but I remember nick hanging around their house when  Lori and I where raising money or just hanging out at the pond! My deepest condolences to Lori and her entire family! GODSPEED!  Rebecca Allin 

Nick's contagious smile, laughter, fun-loving nature and his way with people are just a few of the gifts he had that I will miss so much. We raised a child together and maintained a friendship through some very rough times. He managed to make people laugh and smile in the craziest of moments. To calm the most worked up person in the room. To solve the problem no one else knew how to solve. To know Nick was to love him and he was, is and will always be so dearly loved. I will miss you, Nicholas will miss you and we will keep your memory close to our hearts forever. Be at peace, Nick. We love you. 

Nick, Stephanie Newton Proellochs and I were truly the 3 Amigos for years. We spent every waking moment together for many years. There has never been 3 better friends. I am shocked and rocked to my core that both of my besties are now in Heaven.  Until we meet again. I will take care of it down here, you two take care of it up above! I will miss and love you forever. 

Over the past 20 years there are so many.  Rarely a day went by we didn't see or speak to one another.  He touched the lives of so many and was so generous.  His soul was a rare gem.  RIP I love you!

I have so many memories over the last 20 years of seeing him or at least speaking to him nearly everyday! Here's a text he sent, if the screenshot loads, of how he often dealt with me being upset with him. He'd  say"knock it off honey, I love you! We always tried to make life a bit better, in any way we could, for each other. He would get upset if anyone assumed we were anything other than each other's best friend.  He was about the most empathetic man i know! He just knew when someone needed a hug or a laugh or sternly suggesting that someone should just 'do the right thing' when returning a bad alternator.  Then he told the mgr 'Don't you feel better now you did the right thing?!'
I've watched him see a grumpy, tired cashier and have her giggling like a school girl with just a few words. He was perfectly imperfect! He brightened my days as he did so many of  ours with his witty comments that could send you rolling on the floor with laughter! I have many photos I'd like to share but can't seem to upload to this.  

Nick and had been friends for the last 20 years and worked together everyday for the last 3. Loyal, trustworthy, generous would best describe my friend. “See ya in the morning, it’s going to be a cold one” was the last thing he said to me. I’m still in shock and don’t know what to say. My heart goes out to his boys and friends. He was loved and will be missed tremendously. I wish I could talk to him one more time, I’d make sure he knew.

God Speed Nick.  Grew up in the same neighborhood as Nick ,he was a couple yrs. older than me.  I remember he had a  kool Red Line  BMX Bike  . When he started driven he would let me take his bike for days.  Always remembered that , was very kool. Thnx Nic.

My heart goes out to his kids and family. I knew Nick more than 20 years and have a lot of great memories. He will truly be missed and yes, he was very much loved! You were one of the truest friends anyone could ask for Nick, always there for anyone if they needed anything and you could help. You never turned your back on anyone. Rest In Peace- Gone but NEVER Forgotten

I have no words I'm in total shock we've been friends since 2nd grade I just wished him Happy Birthday a few weeks back I'm gonna miss you Brother!!
