Nick was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 9, 1962, to Norman Drimmel and Judy (Drimmel) Padilla.
Nick has three passions in life that were most important to him. His passion, especially in his younger years was music, which led him to play in a Rock band in Los Angeles. They were known as “Stallion”.
He also loved to go fishing and enjoyed a fish fry with friends and family.
His greatest satisfaction in later years was making his “special” niece Olivia, happy. Nick didn’t get to experience fatherhood and always expressed how grateful he was that his relationship with Livi was as close as he would ever get. Likewise, Nick treasured his nephews and niece, John, Luke, David and Sarah.
Nick was also an avid Chiefs fan and loved our Padilla game days.
Nick was preceded in death by his father, Norm Drimmel, and his sister, Sherri (Drimmel) Eberhart. He leaves behind his mother and stepfather Tom “Bebo” Padilla and Judy (Drimmel) Padilla of Blue Springs, Missouri. His brother, John Drimmel and wife Jan of Overland Park, Kansas. His maternal Aunt, Janie Hooper of Sun City, Arizona. Two cousins, Tracy Downing of St. Petersburg, Florida and Kjersti Cadie of Yakima, Washington.
