Born on November 9, 1986, in Kansas City, MO to Felici and Jean Giordano he grew up in Peculiar, MO. Nicholas was a proud graduate of Ray-Pec High School, and staying close to family made his home in Peculiar, Missouri.
Nicholas met life with steady resilience and a ready sense of humor—qualities that carried him through both ordinary days and the harder ones, and that drew people close to him. He built a life rooted in work, loyalty, and the simple, meaningful pleasures of time well spent.
For 17 years, Nicholas worked as co-owner of Grade A Tree Care. He brought determination and skill to his work, earning the respect of those who knew him through the consistency of his effort and the pride he took in what he did.
Outside of work, Nicholas found joy in the outdoors and in the company of the people he loved. He was actively involved in deer hunting with his AR and crossbow, and he enjoyed fishing and gardening. Nicholas was extremely handy and crafty, and in his free time he made many wood sculptors. He also never missed the chance to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs, watching every game with the kind of devotion that made Sundays feel like tradition. Above all, he valued spending time with family and friends, sharing laughter and presence in ways that will be deeply missed.
Nicholas is survived by his parents, Felici Giordano and Jean Venable Giordano; his brother, Kenneth Mackey (Regina); his sister, Jennifer Mackey Craig (Jonathan); many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; his aunts and uncles; and companion Cassidy Sikes.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of life at New Vision on Thursday September 3rd at 12400 Grandview Road Grandview MO 64030. Visitation with the family will begin at 1pm. Funeral services will start at 2pm–3pm. Close family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of life/repass directly after services.
The family would like to thank Children's Mercy Hospital, KU Hospital, and Barnes Jewish Hospital for the care and compassion they showed our loved one, especially the nurses on unit 15 at KU Hospital.
