In her early years, Norma was the caretaker of her 10 brothers, 1 sister, and a niece, showcasing her faithful and hard-working nature. She later retired from Nelly Don Garment Company, where she was known for her dedication and commitment.
Norma was married to Glen Bryant for 64 wonderful years. Glen, a veteran, and Norma shared a loving and devoted life together until his passing. She was a proud mother to her daughters, Carolyn Dawson and Linda Garcia (Carlos), and her late son, Bobby Bryant (JoAnn). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Aaron T. Dawson (Julie), Kyle Bryant (Emily), and Chad Bryant (Suzanne), along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A kind-hearted soul, Norma was a member of the Daughters of Rebecca and McMurray United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, and loved playing cards with her family, bringing joy and laughter to those around her.
A visitation will be held at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 Northeast Vivion Road, Kansas City, MO, on August 2, 2025, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am. A graveside service will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 8251 Hillcrest Rd, Kansas City, MO. Contributions are suggested to Kansas City Hospice.
Norma's lighthearted spirit and cherished presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
