Norma Jean Saladino, 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away June 18, 2013. Visitation on Fri., June 21st from 10-11am at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church (9020 E. 51st Terr. KCMO 64133) with mass following at 11am. She will be laid to rest after the mass in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Norma was born on Feb. 28, 1923 in Kansas City, MO and was a lifelong area resident. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandma and homemaker. Norma loved and valued her family above all. She enjoyed dancing and listening to music; especially Frank Sinatra & Elvis Presley. Her family will cherish her many Sunday dinners, cookie and cannoli making as well as countless conversations about “the good old days”. Norma was fond of baseball and her beloved New York Yankees. Anyone who knew Norma knew a loving and thoughtful soul that will be dearly missed. Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Carl; a daughter, Carolyn and two grandsons, Nicholas & Thomas. She is survived by her children, Mary Ann McCormack (Craig), Tom Saladino (Mary Beth), Bob Saladino (Gloria), Linda Huckstep (John); 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. All our love.
