

She was born to Forrest and Ola Grove in Gallatin, MO on February 7, 1929. She graduated from Gallatin High School and moved to Kansas City to work at Bendix Corp where she retired as an executive Secretary after 36 years.
Norma married Charles Parmeter in 1949 and they had a daughter Kathy in 1950. The family moved to Hickman Mills in 1958 where they were divorced in 1962. Norma married Jim B. Snodgrass in 1971; they were married until Jim passed in 1989.
Norma was a very social person with lots of loving friends, many of whom were in the Ruskin Band Parents. She remained social, active, witty, and healthy throughout her life. Her favorite activities were spending time with family, having lunch with friends, visiting the Lake of the Ozarks, and visiting new restaurants. Norma was a very loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Norma is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ola and Forrest Grove, her brother Marshall Grove (wife Carol), and her sister Marilyn Eaton (husband Gene).
She leaves her daughter Kathy Payne and husband Don, granddaughter Kara Hernandez (husband Jimmy, daughter Hadley, and son Javi), and granddaughter Keli Baughan (husband Travis, son Dexter and daughter Etta).
Norma also leaves 3 children she gained from her marriage to Jim; Judy Parsons( husband Jack), Raymond Snodgrass (wife Barbara, son Jason (wife Sindhura and daughter Arya), daughter Jennifer Ludemann (husband Jeremy, sons Austin Dye, , Chris, Dye, Andrew Robinson, daughter Alison, and grandson Sawyer Dye.)), and Jimmy Snodgrass (wife Jane, son James (wife Rachel, sons Milo and Niko), and son Joe (wife Lillian.))
