Oda M. Burton, 88, passed away January 25, 2015 at KC Hospice House. Oda was born April 22, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Burton, her parents and sister, Flossie. Oda retired from the Federal Government Book Store. She was a member of Coronation of Our Lady. Kitty never met a stranger and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family wants to thank KC Hospice House for their care and kindness. Survivors include two daughters, Glenda Beecham and Janet Burton-Keller; three grandchildren, Rachelle Schoonover (Jim), Shannon Beecham (Amy) and Amanda Keller and two great grandchildren, Aiden and Liam Beecham. Visitation will be Monday, February 2, 2015 from 11 am until service time at 12 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the KC Hospice House.
