Orean Terry

Orean Govan Terry born April 11, 1935 in Falcon, Arkansas to Jake Govan and Etta (Wesley) Govan, who later in life married Nehemiah Gipson after her first husband passed. Her mother and stepfather also preceded her in death.

She departed this life on April 8, 2025. She passed 2 days before her 90th birthday. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, pastor Kim Gladney. She was the 2nd child of 10 Brothers and Sisters which 4 preceded her in death. Herman Gipson (Alma) of Arizona, Alvin Gipson of Kansas City, MO, Author Gipson of Las Vegas, Nevada. Versie Mickles (Joseph Mickles) She leaves to cherish her loving memory 1 Son Harold Terry and Wife Janet Terry 1 deceased son Edward Gene Terry who will now rest in peace with her. 3 Grandkids, Harold Terry Jr. and Kerrion Terry and Kesha Terry, 1 Great Grandson Harlee Terry. She also leaves 3 Sisters Mary Hughley (Linton) of Kansas City, MO, Georgia Ray of Little Rock, Arkansas, Etta Taylor (Lincoln) of Raytown, MO, 2 Brothers Nehemiah Gipson Jr. (Linda), of Althemier, Arkansas, Charlie Gipson of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and a host of nieces, cousins, friends and church family.
