Orville Ray Miller, 89, passed away August 11, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Orville was born in Fair Play, MO and had lived in this area for most of his life. Orville was a WW II Army veteran. He worked as a welder for Armco Steel for 41 years, retiring in 1990. Orville was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Geneva Eileen Miller and 9 siblings. Survivors include 5 children, Stephen R. Miller; Patricia E. Miller; Dennis L. Miller (Esmie); Debbie S. Scanlon (Dan); Phillip D. Miller (Julie); 2 sisters, Helen Hendershot; Alice Brobisky; a brother, Roger Miller (Shirley); 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; siblings in law, Marjorie Chancellor; Harvey and Caroline Miller.
