Pamela Jane Rode, 59, of Lenexa, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday, March 19th, 11:00 a.m., at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Road, Leawood, KS. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to the mass. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Purrfect Pets, 9635 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS, 66212.
Pamela was born May 6, 1954 to John and Constance Rode. She was currently employed by Century Link. She enjoyed puzzles, reading, traveling, nature and especially her cats.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Briana Anderson; sister, Carolyn Rode Bates; brother-in-law, Jim Bates; niece and nephew, Kelley and Collin Bates; her furry children, Cricket and Camea Kai; and many family and friends.
