Patricia Hardin of Belton, MO passed away December 20, 2020 at home in her husband’s arms. A private service will be held for Pat with a celebration of her life occurring at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Notre Dame de Sion High School (10631 Wornall Rd Kansas City, MO 64114; https://www.ndsion.edu/giving/give-to-sion/sion-fund).
Pat was born July 15, 1957 in Imperial, MO. She was a devout Catholic and a longstanding parishioner of St. Thomas More Parish. She graduated from Avila University and was a four-year volleyball letterwoman. Pat was inducted into the University’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2016. The excellence Pat displayed academically and athletically continued in her professional life in the healthcare industry. Over her corporate career she created three companies and was most passionate about Phoenix Healthcare Solutions. She was unconditionally committed to her clients and as a result, they saw her as a friend, member of their team and advocate for their business. Her work and clients spanned multiple states and as a result, brought her to one of her favorite places, Pensacola Beach, Florida. There she made lasting memories with close friends and family on the white sands and blue waters of the Gulf. Besides serving in numerous capacities on hospital and healthcare Boards and advisory committees, Pat was most proud to have served two terms on the Board of Trustees at Notre Dame de Sion where she was Chairwoman of the Board from 2011 to 2013.
The unconditional commitment Pat showed her clients was only matched by her love and devotion to her family, friends, and community. Pat put others first, she was selfless and altruistic, always ready to help, never wanting to receive credit for assistance. Her balance of wisdom, hard work, thoughtfulness, and fun was the foundation her life was built upon.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved Father Jack Cronin and Sister Jo Ann Cronin. She is survived by her husband of forty years, J. Robert Hardin, her son Derek and his wife Nikki, their beloved children Finley and Vaughan, her daughter Erin and her husband Chris Kiella and their eagerly anticipated, soon to arrive, baby Kiella. She is also survived by her dear Mother, Adeline Cronin and her brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Karen Cronin. Pat also leaves behind her dearly beloved Avila Girls, their families, and her Allendale family.
Patricia was a powerful force in the lives of her family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
