Patricia Ann Wolf Albers, 92, Prairie Village, KS, passed away December 13, 2018 at home. Visitation will be Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 10-11 am at the Church of the Nativity, 3800 W. 119th St., Leawood, KS. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am. Friends are invited to join the family following the Mass for fellowship and a meal at the church. Graveside service will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities, Notre Dame de Sion High School, or Rockhurst High School.
Mrs. Albers was born March 26, 1926 in Buffalo, NY. After graduating from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, MO where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Pat met and married the love of her life, Len Albers. They started married life in Detroit, MI and moved to Westport, CT and Wheaton, IL, finally settling in Prairie Village, KS. She was active in the Women’s Club at Cure of Ars Church, President of the Mothers' Club of Rockhurst High School 1967-1968, active member of Church of the Nativity from its inception, office manager for Notre Dame de Sion High School for 14 years, and one of the founders of Catholic Charities Snowball.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Leonard Francis Albers. Survivors include her children Gregory (Lisa) Albers, Barbara (Steve) Stockton, Douglas (Mary) Albers, Patty (Jim) Albertson, and Thomas (Monica) Albers; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 7 nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
