Patricia R. Arrighi
March 25, 1926 – November 28, 2012
Patricia Rose Arrighi died in her sleep at 3:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012. Patricia was born in Kansas City, Missouri where she has happily lived all her life. After graduating from Northeast High School, she was employed nine years at Kansas City Life Insurance Company as a secretary to two lawyers in the real estate department. For 13 years, she was the administrative assistant for the District Manager of Metal Goods Corporation. Patricia studied advertising sales at KCMU. Through the years, she has worked for Bruce B. Brewer Advertising, Barickman Advertising, Valentine-Radford and took an early retirement as account executive from NKH&W (now known as Nicholson Kovac, Inc.). She enjoyed many travels with her family throughout the States, Europe, Cuba and Mexico. Patricia was a member of St. Bernadette’s Church from its founding by Reverend John R. Quinn over 50 years ago, and participated as a member of the St. Gerard Women’s Guild. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Arrighi and Elizabeth Rose (Basso) Arrighi and her sister, Mary Elizabeth Arrighi. She is survived by her loving sister, JoAnn Arrighi and many devoted cousins whom she dearly loved. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 1st, 9:00 a.m., at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 9020 East 51st Terrace, Kansas City, MO, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will take place in the mausoleum at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 W. 93rd St., Overland Park, KS, 66212 or to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue, Kansas City, MO, 64105.
