Patricia was born December 12, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Ruskin High School in 1964 as Valedictorian of her class. She started her career immediately after graduating from high school as a secretary at this company. She worked her way up to become the first female insurance underwriter for the company. She had the unique privilege of being able to work with both of her sisters and made many friends along the way. She retired from Universal Underwriters Insurance Group in 1993.
Her family was always her first priority. Christmas was her favorite holiday. She had great admiration for the Kansas City Chiefs and the Arkansas Razorbacks. You would regularly catch her watching Extreme Makeover Home Edition on TV. Animals of any kind with a fondness for horses, dogs, and cats. She loved watching hummingbirds. At any given time in Prairie Village, she might have no less than 10 pets in the house. The most exotic were alligators, chinchillas, mice, piranhas, rabbits, and occasionally birds. As a matter of fact, the basement looked like a small petting zoo. 😊
She was a member of the Mopar Club of the Ozarks. Her hobbies included cooking, shopping, camping, riding motorcycles, playing cards with the family, listening to music, dancing with her husband, challenging her father with knowledge games, taking care of her farm on Farmville, Pogo Games, and crossword puzzles
She is survived by her husband John Samuel Everman IV of Bentonville, AR, daughter Tammy Lynn (Tony) Romero of Kansas City, KS, son John Samuel (Holly) Everman V of Shawnee, KS, sisters Bonnie Klein of Roeland Park, KS and Bette Myers of Enterprise, AL, brother Paul Weber of Goodman, MO, granddaughters Tayler Smith of Lompoc, CA, Mariah MacCurtain of Overland Park, KS, Lexi Hannes of Overland Park, KS and Jessica Romero of Mission, KS, great-granddaughter Avery MacCurtain of Overland Park, KS and many more family members
