Patricia Ann Taegel

Patricia Ann Taegel, 76, Kansas City North, passed away June 12, 2013 at St Mary’s Manor of Blue Springs, MO. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 21st at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, burial in Mt. Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Thursday at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to LL Dog Rescue.

Patricia was born December 31, 1936 in Cherokee, IA. She lived in Ft Dodge, IA until moving to Kansas City in 1954. On June 24, 1957 she married Joseph John Taegel who preceded her in death on September 11, 1991. She attended Maple Woods Community College earning her Associates Degree. Patricia went on to own Northland Floral for several years and later retired from Marcus Allen Ford. Patricia enjoyed her grandchildren, dogs, reading and recipe clipping.

Survivors include a sister, Kay Geinger, Waterloo, IA; children, Sharon Taegel and partner, James Murphy, Lee’s Summit, MO; Theresa Blanc, Raytown, MO, James Taegel and wife, Michele Le Mahieu, Thornton, CO, Timothy Taegel, Mary (Bitsy) Cady, and Kathryn (Kat) Walden, all of Kansas City, MO; 6 grandchildren, Jenny, Christina, Brent, April, Amanda and Angela; and 6 great grandchildren.
