She was born in Kansas City, MO in 1934 to Garland and Rose Wright. Patricia worked at Westinghouse and then retired from UMB.
Grandma loved being out in the yard with Grandpa Tucker before he passed in 2001. She continued working in her yard growing flowers all the way to her death. Grandma and Grandpa loved being with family and Christmas was a favorite time of the year. Grandma decorated more and more every year and her love of bears and angels was never more evident than on Christmas morning. Grandma was a collector and her kitchen would reflect her love of mushrooms and copper.
Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Tucker, her sons James Pemberton and Perry Tucker, her parents (Garland Wright) Earl and Rose O’Neil, and her brother Jerry Wright. She is survived by her son Richard Pemberton, daughter Pamela Pool, son Kenneth Tucker, twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great- grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Mt Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home & Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO on August 21, 2025. Visitation at 11:00 am, Graveside Service / Burial at 12:00 pm.
