Patty was born in Clinton, Missouri on January 10, 1938 to Pearl and Harry Gumm. Patty was joined in marriage with her husband Clarence (Sonny) Whitmore, Jr. on March 1, 1957. Patty enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was a big Chiefs fan. She also loved to crochet and attend church on Sundays.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband Clarence (Sonny) Whitmore, Jr., two sisters Peggy Jones and Susie Harbin. She is survived by her loving sons Steve L. Whitmore and Brian E. Whitmore, daughter in-law Kim Whitmore, son in-law Rex Hudson, granddaughter Katie Whitmore, step grandson Chad Irvin, one sister Jean Pryor and several nieces and nephews. Patty was very proud of her family
