Patrick Henry Owens, 65, of Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2011 at home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 6th, 10:00 a.m., at St. Ann Catholic Church, 7231 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., prior to the mass.
Pat was a graduate of Rockhurst High School in 1963. He graduated from St. Louis University with a BS in Political Science in 1967. He then served with the Peace Corp in Columbia. Pat was a Linguist.
Pat is survived by Robert A. Owens of Prairie Village, KS; Mark Owens of Prairie Village, KS; Mary Helen Thorpe of Sarasota, FL; John Owens of Kansas City, MO; Janet Wells of Leawood, KS; Carol Owens of Olathe, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
