A visitation will be held Tuesday October 8th, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. at Floral Hills in Raytown followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Patsy was born March 30, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri to Carl and Trela (Ellis) Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister in-law Wanda McNutt.
Patsy graduated from Paseo Highschool in 1959. She was involved with the Order of Job’s Daughters. She worked 23 years for the Internal Revenue Service. Patsy enjoyed spending time at their Lake of the Ozarks condominium with family and friends, going to the casino, doing cross stitch, baking, playing cards all night, and eating her sweets.
Patsy is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Donald Lee Zackert; son Terry Allen Zackert (Rebecca); daughter Stacy Elaine Simpson (Stuart); Grandchildren Sara, Samantha, & Seth Simpson; her sister LaVon Fogle (Alva); her brother in-law Everett McNutt; and many nieces and nephews.
