Paul A. Dougan

May 28, 1958 – December 15, 2012

Paul A. Dougan, 54, of Prairie Village, Kansas, passed away December 15, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, at Mount Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 W. 93rd Street, Overland Park, Kansas 66212. Paul was born May 28, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School and was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked for more than 25 years as a salesman in the food service industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Delbert and Jennie (Rathbun) Dougan. He is survived by wife Mary Dougan, sister Debbie Dougan, daughter Anna Dougan and her fiance, Mike King, son Derek Dougan (Raquel), grandsons Derek, Caleb, and Ryan, niece Lauren Magneson, extended family and friends. Some of my favorite memories with my dad is all of us down at Grand Lake, OK. My dad loved going to the lake house, to fish, take us kids on the boat to go rafting, and enjoy the peace that you get from going there.
I will miss my dad very much and knowing he is in heaven with his parents gives me peace. I love you Dad with all my heart.
