

Paul Eugene Tinoco,Sr.,age 73 of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022. Paul was born on November 1,1948 to Pablo and Consuelo Tinoco. He was one of nine children. He married his wife, Christina, in 1968 and spent the next 53 years with her. Three children came from their marriage. He worked alongside his father, Pablo, at the family business, Paul's Electric, in Kansas City for 27 years and spent the next 25 years working as a roofer and general contractor. He enjoyed playing softball and played on several Kansas City teams over the years. His family was his life and spending time loving them was his favorite pastime.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Michael; and his two sisters, Lillian Rangel and Constance Garnett. His survivors include his wife, Christina Tinoco; three brothers, Walter Tinoco and Mark Tinoco of Kansas City, MO and Russell Tinoco of Madison, WI; three sisters, Linda McDavitt of Pleasant Hill, MO, Patricia Tinoco of Kansas City, MO, and Theresa Vasquez of Kansas City, KS; daughter, Danelle Tinoco; and son; Paul Tinoco; two daughter-in-laws, Linda Tinoco and Kimberly Trivitt; 8 grandchildren, Stephanie, Christina, Justin, Mikaela, Samantha, Destiny, Nicolas and Nina; 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and close friends that became family.
A visitation for Paul will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McGilley Memorial Chapel-Midtown, 20 West Linwood Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64111 and a Rosary service will occur the following day, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 11500 N. 38th St., Kansas City, KS 66102. Family and friends are invited to gather for a funeral luncheon/dinner reception following burial services at St. Anthony Catholic Church/St.Joseph Hall at 309 Benton Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Donations to the family of food, drinks and other items for the reception can be sent or dropped off at St. Anthony's as well.
