

She was born on March 2, 1949, in Carrollton, Missouri to Zeline "Tippy" and Martha (Cunningham) Butler and was one of their 13 children. After graduating high school in 1967, Paula started working full time. She had a few jobs over the years but spent most of her career working for and retiring from Tyson Foods. Along with her brother, Mickey, she owned and operated Butler Package, a liquor store, in the early 1990s. Paula lived with her brother Mickey and helped raise his sons. Throughout the years they took many road trips across the U.S. seeing as many historical landmarks as they could. The Grand Canyon being one of their favorites. Along the way they'd listen to music and share family stories. Paula was an avid Neil Diamond fan, while Mickey and the boys were avid Beach Boys fans. They dragged her to a Beach Boys concert, so in turn, she took them to a Neil Diamond concert.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Doris, Mary, Charlotte, Dale, Glenn, Hugh "Butch", Derald, Roger and Bill. She is survived by her bothers, Mickey and Russell and her sister, Carol along with many nieces and nephews.
Paula was a simple person who loved living a simple life and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
