Paula devoted many years to serving others as a special education teacher, offering steady guidance marked by honesty, loyalty, and a gentle way of meeting each day’s needs with care. Her work reflected a life lived with quiet purpose and deep respect for the people entrusted to her.
In her personal life, Paula found comfort and joy in simple, familiar pleasures—listening to the Game Show Network and Christian music—and she remained actively involved with the Sojourner's Bible Study. In these routines and commitments, those who knew her best recognized a beloved presence: dependable, kind, and sincere.
Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Betty Clifton. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Richardson (fiancé) Rick McClanahan; brother Mark Clifton (Linda); grandchildren, Tiffany and Dennis Steeby, Daniel J. and Christina Stubbs, and Savanna, Kortney, and Britney McClanahan; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces; and 7 great-grandnieces.
