Paulina May Tervol, 87, Aubrey, TX, passed away October 23, 2015. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Mrs. Tervol was born June 23, 1928 in DeKalb, MO, daughter of Johnny B. and Mamie A. (Pitts) Jones. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who never met a stranger or someone she wouldn’t help. She was a member of the Loma Vista Baptist Church. Paulina worked at Allied Signal for 33 years and retired in 1992. She has lived in Aubrey, TX for the last 5½ years. Before moving to Texas, she lived almost her entire life in Kansas City, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and her husbands, Lloyd R. Gant who passed away in 1970, and Edward J. Tervol, Sr. who passed away in 2010.
Paulina is survived by her one son Gary L. Gant of Columbus, IN; her daughter Linda S. Kirsch of Aubrey, TX; her sister Dorothy A. Baker of Raymore, MO; her brother Virgil C. Jones of Golden, MO; three grandsons Todd A. Gant, Craig C. Gant and Robert A. Kirsch; three great-granddaughters Harley, Carter and Cooper Gant; two great-grandsons Maxton and Spencer Kirsch; extended family and friends.
