I cannot put into words how thankful I am for my family and friends right now. I spent last Wednesday - Saturday with him, and we had an amazing road trip to St. Louis to see his favorite stand-up comic in the world. I want everyone to know that he could not have been happier!! Everybody knows how easily Payton could completely light up a room, and he has brought that same light to my life since we were 13 years old. I have never met anyone so willing to go out of their way for the benefit of others. He was far more than a best friend to me, and I will never forget the countless good times we spent together. Rest In Peace Payton. I Love you bud.

Payton was our second son. We had him as part of our family since he was 6 in kindergarten with Anthony.  He will be forever missed but also forever remembered for the smile he always had on his face.  He was a very special part of our lives....We Love You Payton!

Payton, you were such a joy to be around, you were the first of our friends to visit Trip the day he was born. So grateful you spent John's birthday with us last Friday. You will be missed, dear friend. We love you! — with John Duarte II.

To honor Payton's Birthday we dedicated to the Blue Springs Parks & Recreation Tree Program A Black Gum Tree will be planted in Hidden Valley Park at the first entrance a gray granite maker will be paced at the base of the tree: In Loving Memory Payton Joseph Irwin "1987-2013" the marker will take about 2 months to be completed the tree will be planted before then and the Park Dept. will contact us when that is scheduled. We felt this is something Payton would have loved since he was such a out door guy! Thank you everyone for keeping us in your hearts and all the support and love you give it means so much to Rick and I. Love to all!

Payton, a young man so full of Zest & Love of Life!
Four months ago I lost to God the greatest nephew anyone could ask for.
Although, I was left with a huge hole within my heart I have wonderful memories to treasure for the rest of my life. Life will never be the same to the ones that you had touched in the short time you were with us. I hope you have found the ones that you spoke of often and you are forever together. 
There will never be a sunrise or sunset that you are not thought of you loved them so much. We will feel your presents all around us everyday. 
Your shadow will follow the ones you loved for the rest of their lives.
It gave me great comfort to know you weren't alone at the time of your passing. I believe it was the grace of God that sent you the pastor to be by your side to hold your hand as you passed over into heaven. I still believe that you don't ever get over the lose and it doesn't get better it just gets different. We should grasp every moment we have with our loved ones because you never know what we have until it is suddenly gone with no good-byes. I will Love you forever!

As we spend some very long weekends and processing the passing of a very special young man so dear to our hearts we came across many wonderful photos and life messages that he kept to give him strength as took on each day. I believe this came from when he sold Life Insurance and to this day he still had it were he could read it.
 "One Day at a Time" 
 There are two days in every week about which we should not worry:
 Two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension 
 One of those days is YESTERDAY with its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money
 in the world cannot bring back yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed, we cannot erase a single word said-Yesterday is Gone!
 The other day we should not worry about is TOMORROW, with its possible burdens, its large promise and poor performance. 
 Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control.
 Tomorrow's sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds-but it will rise
 Until it does, we have no stake in tomorrow, for it is yet unborn.
 This leaves only one day "TODAY! Any of us can fight the battle of just one day. It is only when you and I have the burdens in these two awful extremities- Yesterday and
 Tomorrow- that we can break down. 
 It is not the experience of Today that drives us mad-it is the remorse or bitterness about something which happened yesterday and the dread of what tomorrow may bring.
 "LET US THEREFORE LIVE BUT ONLY ONE DAY AT A TIME"
 Payton did live each day to its fullest and kept a smile on his face as he worked through his day! We so miss that wonderful magical smile that he brought to our home! Lv

TODAY I would like to express an immense amount of gratitude for the people in my life that have entered into my heart and added love and laughter. TODAY...we will be paying tribute to our family member that passed away over a week ago at the ripe young age of 26. THE BEAUTY OF THIS MESSAGE...if there is some to be found...I have learned of AN ANGEL THAT FOUND HIM just seconds before he passed away. A pastor happened to be at the scene just moments after his truck rolled. He ran to see if he could help save anyone and HE DID!!! HE HELD HIS HAND AND GUIDED HIM INTO PEACE. The gore of this tragedy is that pastor had hoped to be able to pull someone out, but that was not possible. Yet, through compassion, human contact and healing words, this young man was given a gift of love just moments before he left this life. THANK GOD FOR THIS MAN BEING PLACED THERE AT THAT VERY MOMENT IN TIME!
