Peggy Horne Murray, beloved wife and mother, passed away on November 13, 2011 in Leawood, Kansas. She was born in Beloit, Kansas, graduating from Beloit High School and received a Bachelor’s degree in 1956. Peggy met her future husband Andy in Lawrence, Kansas while attending the University of Kansas. She enjoyed a long career in the Insurance industry, earning many industry designations and awards. Peggy is survived by her son, Kevin A. Murray and his wife, Lynne of Leawood, Kansas; grandchildren Kyler and Kelsi Murray of Richmond, Virginia, Claire Osland of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Ann Hubbell of Columbia, Missouri; niece Ginger Robinson of Beloit, Kansas; and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Andrew G. Murray in 2008, and in earlier years by parents Ross and Alice Horne, two brothers, and two nephews. Memorial service will be private. She will rest with her husband in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence, Kansas.
