Peter was born December 10, 1952, in Kansas City, Missouri. Peter attended Holy Cross Catholic Church and was a lifelong resident of Northeast Kansas City, Missouri. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He retired from Hallmark Cards after over 40 years of employment. Peter was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend as well as having a giving heart for local community organizations.
He was preceded in death by parents Pete and Dionysia Campos and brother Arthur. Peter is survived by siblings: Patricia Campos, Andrew (Dana) Campos, Christopher (Teri) Campos, Margaret Campos (Gary Metcalf), and Phillip Campos and 32 nieces and nephews.
Visitation proceedings will be held at McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home,11924 E. 47th St. Kansas City, Missouri 64133 on Tuesday, January 9th, from 6-8 pm with Rosary at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, January 10th at 10am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5106 St. John Ave., Kansas City, Missouri 64123 with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 2201 Cleveland Ave., Kansas City, Missouri 64127.
