Peter John McCoy, 50, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on March 6, 2018.

Peter was born on February 12, 1968 in Okinawa, Japan to James & Charlotte McCoy. He loved sports, especially baseball and baseball history. He has collected baseball cards since his childhood. He loved fishing and other outdoor activities. Peter was the owner of Central Park Gallery for 10 years.

Peter is survived by his parents, his wife Maria and sons Bennet and Andrew. He is also survived by his brother Thomas (Beth), sister Cindy, brother Patrick, sister Pixie (Bill), father-in-law Nick Bovis as well as his nieces & nephews.

A Visitation will take place from 12:00pm to1:00pm on Sunday, March 11 followed by Celebration of Life at 1:00pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with educational expenses for Peter’s sons.
