Peter John "Petey" Slusarczyk

Peter John “Petey” Slusarczyk was born February 27, 1979 in Independence, Missouri. He graduated from Nativity of Mary grade school and attended St. Mary’s High School before graduating from Raytown High School.

Petey was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed creating, making people laugh and having fun. He had a kind heart as well as family and friends who he loved, and who loved him dearly. Petey left this world and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday, June 16, 2017. He is survived by his grandfather, Nick Ogrizovich; parents, Peter and JoAnn Slusarczyk; sister, Kristin and Greg Graf; sister, Janelle and Mike Yonke; niece, Chloe and nephews, Albie and A.J. He will be forever remembered with a smile on his face and with love in our hearts.

A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 5:30pm and Visitation following from 6-8pm at McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial 11am on Friday, June 23, 2017 held at Nativity of Mary Church, 10021 E. 36th Terrace S., Independence, Missouri with burial following at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
