

Phillip Gregory Foster, 45 of Irving TX, formerly of Overland Park, KS, died suddenly Friday, March 7, 2014 at Baylor Medical Center, Irving, TX. Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help/Redemptorist Fathers Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, KS. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 12 at the McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd, where the rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m.
Phillip was born June 21, 1968 in Kansas City, MO to Richard Lionel and Opal Elizabeth (Gentry) Foster. He was a maintenance worker for the city of Allen, TX. Phillip had worked for Hallmark 19 years. Phillip was a Promise Keeper, devoted to his wife and family who were always placed first in his life’s decisions. Phillip was preceded in death by his father and sister Mary. Phillip’s survivors include his wife of 25 years, Stephanie of the home; two sons, Phillip Louis Foster of Kansas City, KS and Patrick Foster of the home; three daughters, Rebecca Sepesi and husband Benjamin, Anne Marie Foster and Bernadette Foster, all of Kansas City, KS; his mother, Opal Foster of St. Mary’s KS; four brothers, Richard Foster, Robert Foster, Stephen Foster and Kenneth Foster; seven sisters, Deborah Rosewell, Anna Foster, Constance Skevington, Jennifer Foster, Teresa Cretel, Christina Inglin and Sister Jeanne d’Aza and four grandchildren.
