Phillip A. Parker, 61, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010. Graveside service will be Friday, October 22, at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Phillip was born in Cairo, Illinois on March 25, 1949 to Edward and Joy (Lindsey) Parker. He had worked as a custodian. He was a United States Air Force veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Deborah A. (Jones) Parker, sons Micheal Acott and Phillip Mathew Parker, daughter Sonja Renee Houston, sister Alice Knowles, and three grandchildren Anthony, Makayla and Nicholas.
