Phillip A. Totton, 35 of Kansas City, MO died Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 3, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8510 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Monday the church. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to a trust fund for his children, Gabriel and Maria Totton.

Phillip was born August 19, 1977 in Kansas City, MO to Doug and Tamera (Irons) Totton. He was a graduate of the Plaza Academy and was working at the Kansas City, Mo Department of Parks and Recreation at the time of his death. Phillip was preceded in death by his two grandfathers, Jack Totton and Bill Irons, and uncle JohnTotton. His survivors include his children, Gabriel Totton and Maria Totton of Grandview, MO; wife Cerise of Grandview, MO; mother, Tamera Lehner (Jim), Belton, MO; father, Doug Totton (Cynthia Holt), Wichita, KS; sister, Candice Totton, Kansas City, MO; paternal grandmother, Charlene Hollingsworth, Kansas City, MO; maternal grandmother, Loretta Hernandez, Kansas City, MO; three aunts, Christi Van Buskirk, Cheri Beitling and Anjeanette Lewis, all of Kansas City, MO; three uncles, Larry Irons (Andrea), Joe Irons and Michael G. Hollingsworth, all of Kansas City, MO; nine nieces and nephews, Julian Robinson, G’nya Crayton, Messiah Coreas, Kendall Irons, Gage Irons, Cash Irons, Monica Lewis, Daniel Lewis and Derek Lewis; 2 brothers-in-law, Garron Crayton and Martin Perez, Jr.; Sister-in-law Martina Perez.
