Pierce was born on March 31st, 2005 in Shawnee, Kansas. He attended Pembroke Hill School, graduating from high school in 2023. While we talked about visiting several universities, Pierce took his own path—as he often did—and decided his school was going to be the University of Missouri-Columbia. He became a true Tiger in the fall of 2023 and was a member of Farmhouse fraternity.
Pierce was a bright, kind, and adventurous young man whose spirit of exploration and creativity touched those who knew him. While his life was far too short, it never lacked a fullness. He was the light of his family, friends and co-workers. He was one of the lucky ones who found true passions early in life. While he loved golfing with his family, gaming with his friends, and hunting and fishing with his family and friends, Pierce found his true passions as he grew through his teenage years. Pierce discovered flying, and from that moment forward, he knew his ultimate career in life would be a pilot. He obtained his pilot’s license shortly after high school and continued flying at MIZZOU, building hours and experience, and eventually earning the certifications he would need to pursue his passion. He spent countless hours flying with his friends and his dad. He also discovered motorcycling. He began learning to ride during the pandemic, when his dad would take him to a parking lot and teach him to ride. Pierce developed a love for riding that nearly rivaled his love of flying. Through that love, Pierce discovered a whole new world of friends—friends that were there for him, and he in turn for them. And recently, he added a new passion, one that complimented his already full life—photography. He combined photography with motorcycles, planes and everything that caught his eye.
Pierce was the perfect son. Pierce was deeply loved and deeply loved back. Though his time was brief, Pierce led an incredibly rich life filled with love and support. He embraced new and amazing experiences, while remaining true to himself and his relationship with his parents and family. His beautiful and complete impact on his loved ones’ lives will last forever. Though he has left a hole that cannot ever be filled, his family will continue to move forward as he would have wanted.
