Polyhronis “Paul” Parthenopoulos, 50, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away September 29, 2011. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 5th, at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, 12001 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64145. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4th at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, with the Trisagion service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church. Polyhronis “Paul” was born September 19, 1961 in Athens, Greece and came to the United States with his family in 1966. They settled in the Northeast Kansas City community and Paul continued to live there for the next 45 years. He attended both Scarritt Elementary School and Northeast High School. Paul is survived by his parents, Stelios and Maria Parthenopoulos; daughter Geneva Parthenopoulos; grandchildren Terrell Polyhronis Parthenopoulos, Alexia Parthenopoulos, and Ariana Parthenopoulos; and his sister Sophia “Stacy” McCray and her husband Tim.
