Randal (Randy) W. Freeman, 59, Overland Park, KS, passed away March 21, 2016 at home. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday, March 25 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital/Cardiac Unit, c/o Dept. of Philanthropy, 2401 Gillham Rd., Kansas City, MO 64108.
Randy was born December 16, 1956 in Kansas City, MO. He was owner/partner of Lynn Elliott Co. Kansas City, Inc. He was a passionate and avid golfer. He loved family, traveling, music and spending time at the lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Bernice Freeman. Randy is survived by his wife Rebecca; sons Clay Freeman (Lauren) and Eliott Freeman; siblings Darrell Freeman (Mary), Eagle Rock, MO, Carol McCrory (John), Grain Valley, MO and Anita Howe, Eclectic, AL; numerous nieces and nephews, other loving family members, and friends.
