Ray L. Hawthorne, Jr., 80, passed away January 30, 2016. Ray was born January 15, 1936. Ray leaves behind his wife of 46 years, Kara Avice Hawthorne of Riverside, MO; a daughter, Christina Louise Hawthorne of Platte City, MO; a son, Philip Ray Hawthorne (Tiffany Marie) and one grandson, Alexander Ian Hawthorne all of Eagle River, Alaska. Services are pending at Floral Hills Funeral Home.
