Regina C Fightmaster

Regina Cecelia Fightmaster, 92, of Raytown, MO passed away February 6, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Fri., February 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (8812 E. Gregory Blvd., Raytown, MO 64133) with visitation beginning at 9am. Burial following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Regina was born November 22, 1924 in Kansas City, KS to Joseph and Anna (Sima) Chontos. She was a 1942 graduate of Ward High School. In 1948 she married the love of her life, Robert W. Fightmaster and they had three children. Regina retired in 1987 after 24 years of service at Western Electric and for that period was a member of the CWA. She was a senior member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. She was a member for 62 years and belonged to their Altar Society and The Friendly Club. Regina was an avid gardener; taking great care of her flowers and vegetables. As a devoted animal lover she enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and taking care of her pets as well as strays.

Regina was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and their son, Robert, Jr. She is survived by her children, Kevin Fightmaster (Barbara) and Regina “Gina” Jones (Kenton); 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
