Rhonda Marie Conklin

Rhonda (Caldwell) Conklin was born on April 22, 1958 in Sedalia, MO to Arlander and Nancy J. (Maddox) Caldwell and departed this life on Jan 4, 2016 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS.

She was preceded in death by her father and by her husband, Stuart M. Conklin. Rhonda is survived by her sons, Kristopher and Justin Conklin; mother, Nancy; and stepfather, Lemuel “Mike” Steed. She is also survived by her in-laws, Steve (Angie) Conklin, Scott (Kay) Conklin, Sara Brown; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The early years of Rhonda’s life were spent in Sedalia where she attended Hubbard Grade School. She and her mother moved to San Francisco, CA where she completed her elementary education and graduated from Lowell High School. She attended San Jose State College in San Jose, CA and later Kansas University in Lawrence, KS after she and her mother returned to Kansas City, MO.

Rhonda met and married Stuart Conklin in 1986. From this union Kristopher and Justin were born. Rhonda was employed with Southwestern Bell Yellow Pages for many years, enjoyed life to the fullest, loved to entertain; which included being the center of attention. Her infectious smile will be missed by all.
