Richard E. (Dick) Naudet, 87, of Kansas City, MO passed away Wed., July 24, 2013. Services held on Mon., July 29, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 7900 Blue Ridge, KCMO. Rosary begins at 9:00am & visitation follows; Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Dick was born in Nivina, OK & graduated from Roosevelt High School in Coffeyville, KS. He served in WWII as a member of the US Navy from 1944-46; then spent the remainder of his life in KCMO. Dick married his wife of 57 years, Dorothy (Dot) in 1955. He was employed as a Sprinkler Fitter until his retirement. Dick & Dot enjoyed Square Dancing; he was the caller for the Swinging Squares Square Dance Club for over 30 years. The last 20 years they were also collectors of Coca-Cola memorabilia. He was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Mid-America Chapter of the Coca-Cola Collectors Club & the Great Plains of Kansas Coca-Cola Club. Dick was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Teren Burford and is survived by his wife, Dot; their children, Teresa Burford, Steve Naudet (Karee’) & Lesa Naudet; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
