Richard “Rick” Steven Hoss, 61, of Kansas City, MO passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM, with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Lane Drive, Kansas City, MO 64118.
Rick was born in Des Moines, IA on November 12, 1958 to Joyce (Hibbs) Hoss and Richard W. Lewis. Rick had over 30 years in the automotive business, spending the past 27 years in the family business at Bob Hoss Dodge Chrysler Jeep Inc. Rick enjoyed boating at the Lake of the Ozarks, riding his motorcycle, and occasionally hunting.
Rick was preceded in death by his birth father and, Robert E. Hoss; 3 aunts; and 1 uncle. He is survived by his mother; brother Jeffrey (Tina) Hoss; son, Richard R. Lewis; grandson, Austin Lewis; nephew, Jordan (Cassie) Hoss; girlfriend, Peggy Marlett; and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Rick’s memory be made to St. Charles Academy or to Harbor Hospice.
