Rick Brotherton, age 62, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022. Rick was born August 27, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son Jim and Barbara (Trocosso) Brotherton.

Rick was an avid Royals and Chiefs fan. He was a maintenance supervisor at the Raphael Hotel for the last five years.

Rick is survived by his wife, Melinda Brotherton, son, Mark Kincaid, brother, Dale Brotherton, nephews, Jimmy Brotherton and Collin Beck and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sherri Lofton and niece, Shelly Brotherton.

A visitation for Rick will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mt Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
