

Ricklin Dale Lowrey, 65, of Prairie Village, KS, passed away unexpectedly on his birthday, December 6, 2015. He was born the son of Howard Dale and Mary Katherine (Douglas) Lowrey on December 6, 1950, in Dawn, MO. He married Gina Glaus on March 24, 2001. His military service began in the Air Force. Rick served in the MO National Guard with the 1/129th Field Artillery Regiment for 23 years. He was a database administrator for many years. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church where he served as Deputy Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Rick loved making crazy jokes with his friends, trivia, family time, especially road trips, and serving his country. He was a devoted father, actively participating in all of his children’s sports and activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Dale and Mary Katherine Lowrey and sister-in-law Ramona Lowrey. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gina; 2 daughters, Brianne and Logan Lowrey; 2 sons, Josiah (Joe) and Garrett Lowrey; siblings Sherry Ruys, Randy Lowrey, Steve Lowrey and Kim Lowrey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday, December 14, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 7231 Mission Road, Prairie Village, KS 66208. The burial is in Leavenworth National Cemetery, 150 Muncie Road, Leavenworth, KS 66048. Visitation begins with the Rosary at 5 p.m. at the church on Sunday, December 13. Contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
