Riley Chad Miller, 20, of Greenwood, Missouri passed away suddenly Friday, August 30th.

Riley was a kind, loving soul that had an impact on everyone he met. Life of the party is how most would describe him. Riley graduated from Lee’s Summit West High School and Cass Career Center for firefighting and EMT. He volunteered at Mid-Western Cass Fire Department for a short period of time. Riley also spent a lot of time at the Grandview-Hickman Mills Elks Lodge helping out and volunteering to help the community. Most recently he worked at Johnson County Waste Water. If Riley was not at work everyone knew he could be found on the back of his dirt bikes. Anyone that has ever had a conversation with him knew his strong love and passion for riding trails and getting into motocross racing. He loved anything and everything that had to do with dirt bikes. His love for his friends and family ran deep especially for his brother and sisters and he will be greatly missed by all. Although his story was short, his legacy will live on forever. The family is having an informal visitation for Riley at the Grandview-Hickman Mills Elks Lodge in Grandview, MO on Sunday, September 8th from 1pm-4pm.

I may not have known Riley that well, but I knew in my heart that he was a kind and caring soul. He was a neat kid and had a bright future ahead of him. He was a great brother to his younger sister. I'm friends with him on FB and was following along with all the great things he's done. I was very saddened to hear about his passing, but his soul will live on inside all of us. My condolences and prayers to the Miller family. Please know you are not alone in this. 💙 R.I.P Riley.

Although I don't really know Riley, I know you Brett, and how much you love your family. As we all shared our family stories at work, we laughed and cried and inevitably felt like we knew each others families. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I offer you and Lori my condolences. I know you and Lori will find strength through your faith and love, as well as your fond memories of Riley. Remember, what we keep in memory is ours unchanged forever.

I am so sorry to the family for the loss of Riley. He was a great young man with the most infectious smile and a great heart. He would always stop by and talk if he saw us out on the driveway. He loved to work on his vehicles and spice them up and he would stop by and help us work on our vehicles. Whenever he would drive by he would always hit the horn and yell "Mold"....the boys favorite nickname for me. I will Always miss that and Never forget that! Rest in peace Riley you are so deeply missed.
Love,
Mold
