Rita Joan Brian, 76, Kansas City, MO, passed away Jan. 24, 2011. Rite of Christian Burial Outside of Mass will be 1 p.m., Thursday, January 27th, 2011 at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., prior to service.
Rita was born Decemeber 16, 1934 in Kansas City, Missouri to George and Mary (Sack) Russ. She grew up in the Kansas City area and spent her life as an librarian.
