Mrs. Wilcox is preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Colonel George W. Wilcox (USAF-Ret.); her parents, Missouri State Senator Edgar J. and Hazel Keating; two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Katherine Stuckey, Torrance, CA; her son, John F. Wilcox, Sr., Overland Park; six grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilcox grew up in northeast Kansas City, attending Holy Cross and St.
Agnes Academy. In an era when most women did not go to college, she was a 1941 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
A Memorial Mass will be said at 10:00 a.m. on April 4, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
