Robert Nelson Holder was born on February 10, 1927 and passed away March 31, 2012. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 5, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. In lieu of flowers please, make donations to the Church or charity of your choice. Robert Holder was a Biology teacher at East High School for 25 years. He was also an upholsterer of fine furniture and antiques. He served during the Second World War as Hospital Corpsman in the Navy. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Robert was a Mason and Shriner and was a member of the Oriental Band. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Butonne Holder and his wife Evelan Roberta Holder. Robert is survived by four children Laurie Lynn Lemmons, Lawrence Dale Holder, Linda Diane Sheldrake and Lon Nelson Holder. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
